Quick and Easy Kebabs!

Quick and Easy Kebabs!

Final opened the middle eastern style kebabs from Trader Joe’s, and they are quick and easy! Love middle eastern food and just the season blend they use. These frozen pre-cooked kebabs are ready to go and just take a quick heat up with the method of your choice–but would the flavor be there? No doubt great in a clutch for a protein, but is it something you’d want to eat? Sometimes these foods get a weird funky taste to them, lets dig in and find out how these are.

How to and what’s in them

Cut off a little, but you can get the jest. Calories aren’t bad, but fat/sodium/cholesterol are up there :/ Not the worst but stick to serving size is key here, cant get crazy with it. There actually a great size and your getting your money and nutrition’s worth though! Usually I go air fryer but grill called to me, busted out the indoor ninja foodie and fired it up! I only cooked them for 10 minuets, 5 on each side. Had it set to medium instead of medium low and they had a great char–perfect cook!

Frozen to cooked

See that size! Definitely a filling meal, and the flavors are great<3 Taste like you got it from a food truck, none of that funk is here! I sliced in plain and also topped with a little tzatziki and it was amazing. Have been on a potato kick so I made some seasoned fries and a little tomato and cucumber salad for sides. This would also be perfect over rice or on a pita! Had a fedex delivery and the delivery girl even commented it smelled delicious in the house<3

Solid main with lots of options

These are a solid main dish with lots of options for what to serve them with! Could also cut and toss them on a salad, endless options and they really are quick and easy. There pre-cooked already so its just heating them thru however you like. Giving them a 8/10, nutrition is a little high but there also so so good! Made the whole bag and pumped for left overs tomorrow, might try over rice then. Trader Joe’s staple and readily available, great to try!
