Worlds largest fusilli you say?

A giant pasta! This fun shape from Trader Joe’s is not only tasty for adults but entertaining for kids.

How can you not want to try these! Huge pasta lover here and this bag just called to me. The Italian flag plus fun font and name got me excited. Paired with some marinara for me and olive oil/cheese for the little for a perfect easy meal. You prepare them like all other pasta, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Since there so large make sure your pot has room! Nothing worse then stuck together mushy pasta. I like to add both salt and olive oil to the water for a little flavor and to help keep the pasta from sticking. It says to boil for 12-14 minuets so around the 10 minuet mark start keeping an eye out. We love al dente style and it was there around the 14 minuet mark–if you like it softer might take a little longer.

When its cooked to your liking have a strainer handy and drain that pot. I usually shake it juuuuussssttt a little to leave some pasta water on the noodles, these being so large they held it really well! Add to a bowl and toss in some more olive oil to prevent sticking. The texture of these was just perfect, thick enough to have a good bite but soft enough to melt in your mouth. And they are huge! Each pasta is enough for two bites, or one fork stab each. They held the sauce amazingly and looking forward to trying them with more complex sauces. The size helps carry the sauce so if you coat them right would be amazing in a scampi, francese, alfredo, any type of flavorful sauce you can think of! I loved it and little guy had a ball eating them. Luckily he likes pasta with olive oil and cheese so it wasn’t too messy to eat with his hands, a pasta this fun you have to expect that’s how they’ll eat it<3

9/10! Want to be picky with what gets a perfect score, but this is pretty close. Its exactly what you expect, plus holds flavor really really well.
