Pumpkin, Chocolate, and Maple oh my!
These cookies are fire! Honestly so impressed with this mix and combo for fall cookies from Trader Joes. Their pumpkin chocolate chunk oatmeal cookie mix and the maple mini marshmallows are a match made in the patch<3 Like pumpkin spice and coffee these are meant to go together, and were so much fun for my son to bake.
Easy as 1-2-3
So easy! All you need is a single egg, some water, and a stick of butter. These cookies are literally easy as 1-2-3 ingredient wise. The marshmallows go in at the end and are just a pour and go. Really thought they might be too much but he’d love them–they worked perfectly though! The maple taste is very light and there not too sweet, a perfect addition for a texture switch up and lil maple kick.
Mix it, taste it, mold it
He broke the egg again and I’m SO proud! Let him mix everything together, but then needed the stand mixer for this one. The batter is thickkkkkk but amazing. It actually made making the cookies even more fun! Instead of using spoons to shape the cookies we used our hands, rolling them into balls and placing them on the baking tray. They don’t stick to you and its extra fun 🙂 Hes also a huge fan of the marshmallows and snuck quite a few, they look so pretty in the cookies too.
SO GOOD!
These are really amazing! They look beautiful and taste so so great! Pumpkin and oatmeal go so well together, the chocolate chunks are huge and plentiful, and those marshmallow just add so much. The colors are so fall too, orangish with brown and off white mixed in. Its the first time I added marshmallows to cookies and it was easier then I thought! They didn’t burn and just a sign that they were meant for this mix. If you can find these get em!
