Dark chocolate, almond butter, pretzel goodness

If you like any of those things separate, you’ll love them together in this snack! Saw these while checking out at Trader Joe’s and had to grab a bag. I’m not really a peanut butter fan but do love almonds/dark chocolate. LOVED the Easter dark chocolate almond eggs so thought to give these a try! As with any butter these are calorie heavy and nutrition isn’t great. Using dark chocolate and almond butter though makes them healthier, not healthily but not as bad as they could be! Improvement if you usually reach for a peanut butter snack.

Sizing them up

They pack a bang for your buck! These are not small little snacks, but actually a two biter. Bigger then an M&M, about half the size of a pretzel stick, and thickkkkkk. If you added these to a snack mix they’d stand out like a sore thumb. This helps justify the calories, if only 4 of them are 160 calories they better be big like this! You can easily nibble and enjoy, instead of just stuffing your face–too big for that which is a big plus 🙂

Taste is there! You get a little of everything, the almond butter (not like peanut butter and that unique almond taste), crunchy pretzel, and rich dark chocolate in each bite. You can see each layer perfectly and there so balanced. Nothing is over powering and it taste exactly how you’d want it to. Do to calories I wont be eating these all the time, but its a great snack to just garb one or two as an afternoon sugar boost. And Dark chocolate/almond butter–healthy yet delicious choices! 7/10 and liked them more then I thought!
