Spring Time Cookies and Jangle

Spring Time Cookies and Jangle

Its finally spring!!!! What better way to welcome it then with this amazing snack mix and some sprinkle cookies from Trader Joe’s. Double the review for double the fun 🙂 These two just seemed like they would go so well together, the color on the pretzels matches the cookie filling. Just spring vibes in a pretty happy way, makes me think of fields of flowers and lots of sun.

Spring Jangle

Spring Jangle is everything I wanted and then some! Pretty yogurt pretzels, toffee peanuts, spring nonpareils, Dark chocolate bark, candy gems, and dark/light peanut butter cups all together! The peanut butter cups almost pop in your mouth, there the perfect size to explode with flavor. The pretzels, candy, and nonpareils give this beautiful colors and flavor. If anything would have loved more nonpareils and less bark–there’s a lot of bark in there. Calories are high but this is a chocolate mix–expected and worth it. 8/10 and love it!

Sprinkle cookie sandwich

Sadly didn’t love these, wanted to but it just wasn’t meant to be. They look amazing! Perfect spring or birthday colors and the name is so cute, but taste wise its just too sweet. The frosting in the middle is like from a cake but very very thick. Its just too sweet, the sprinkles don’t add any flavor or crunch, just a thick sweet cream 🙁 The cookies would be ok on there own, but two of them with this in the middle is just so heavy and almost blandly sweet. Calories aren’t the worst but fat and sugar are high, going with the too sweet taste. 4/10, if the filling was light with crunch from sprinkles these would be so much better.

So pretty!

But look how pretty they are together on a platter! The cookies can almost be forgiven, like a meh cheese on a beautiful charcuterie board. You might not eat it but it makes the board so very pretty, and someone might like it. Id eat all the jangle though, that stuff is amazing and fun. Hoping to grab a few more bags before its sold out, this will definitely fly! No wonder the cookies were stocked up still :p
