Fun up your hot chocolate, pumpkin style

Fun up your hot chocolate, pumpkin style

Iffy on cocoa bombs, they always look so large! Why do they need that when the powder pouch is much smaller? But seeing these cute pumpkins and them being filled with marshmallows had to try them! Loved the maple marshmallows and my son loves marshmallows of all kinds, so perfect test. Are they worth it?

What they are and how to make them!

Cinnamon flavored, filled with chocolate drops, and marshmallows? Seems like a lot going on with these, but they are cute. To prepared you just need to heat your milk, we used 2% and warmed it on the stove top. Each one of these bad boys has 200 calories in them which is a lot, have to add it on top of the milk. But if its a fun yummy adventure worth it!

Look at those pumpkins ^_^

There so cute! Notice the stopper on the back, their hollow but filled with goodies like a piñata. You can shake them and hear everything moving around in there, pretty fun! Once we had warm milk in our cups dropped them in, little used a little too much power for a big splash. They didn’t dissolve quick and our milk was really warm :/ Got spoons and stirred them up, which got them open and marshmallows everywhere! Milk turned orange, little chocolate pieces, and lots of marshmallows filled the cup. We used a little under a cup of milk to help up the flavor 🙂

How’s it taste?

It’s…..ok. The cuteness of the pumpkin and the marshmallows were the highlight. Cinnamon flavor was there, but chocolate was light even with less milk. And the pumpkins were huge! He loved making it and ate the marshmallows, but had a sip and was all done. I tried and it was ok, but not good enough to keep drinking. Sadly it gets a 5/10, not tasty but cute. Want to decorate a dessert board? This is a good option.
