Jumbo Size and Flavor Cinnamon Rolls

Jumbo size and flavor cinnamon rolls

Happy Valentines day all! What better way to start the day then with a sweet treat. These jumbo cinnamon rolls from Trader Joe’s are organic, huge, and delicious! Also a fun treat to make with a little, icing them is almost art work. A special treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat!

Definitely calories in these lol but worth it for a sweet treat. If you want to save some sugar and calories just go light on the icing. Your in complete control of how much each gets, from treat yo self to balanced. You take off the wrapper to find, another wrapper! Like this to try and keep the outside together for instructions, didn’t know and ripped mine but next time. A little difference from Pillsbury and like the double wrap idea. I always need a knife to pop thru though, it just never works with the peel! Popped this, twisted it out, and had rolls plus a little cup that held the icing bag. All packaging was really nice for these.

Haha they look silly!

Ours did not pop out so nice looking though! Little guy had a good laugh at the center one kinda unrolling on its own. Probably due to my peeling skills, the bottom ones were perfect but top and especially middle not so much. They also really are stuck together! Had to use a butter knife again to cut them apart, well the ones that weren’t coming apart already. Could be packaging or could be me, a little trickier then most rolls but also felt more hearty. Like they seemed more put together and thicker which is a plus. A little ugly and hard, but seems worth it.

I cooked them a little longer then the instruction said, about 12-13 minuets to get them solid and golden. Before adding icing they looked great! Held together so well, lots of cinnamon, and great consistency. They were crispy on the outside but soft and warm inside<3 Little guy loved topping them with icing, and snuck a taste from the bag when done. I actually liked them more with just a little icing! Normally I drown them but the pastry part itself was really good! A little icing went a long way. We had half in the morning and these will be gone by tomorrow! 8/10, special treat that’s easy and fun to make!
