Veggie fries and cheese dip!
Finally found the amazing garlic and asiago cheese dip at Trader Joes! This babies been hiding from me for over a week! Its in the prepared food section at mine, not the dip or cheese section like you’d think! They also recent brought back the veggies fries which I had to try. These are root vegetable fries and have such a pretty color combo, also pretty good for you. Why not combined the two so I can dip galore!
All about ballance
One nutrition is great! The other just tastes great 🙂 Dip is almost always chonky, but oh so good. This ones 700 calories total, not bad for a party or a few people but I’d eat the whole thing just me 🙂 Hard to do but maybe scoop out just 1/4th if your alone to not be tempted! Or if you have will power all the power to you. These root fries you can eat away! 50 calories per serving, 250 for the whole bag :0 High in fiber, low fat, and low carbs for fries. These are all around great! Just carrot, parsnip, beet, and sweet potato.
When I dip you dip we dip
LOVE this dip! Cook for 2 minuets, cool for 2 minuets, amazing warm dip! The only downside is the wrapping I think, I couldn’t lift that corner! Tried so hard and battling that plastic wrap took forever, it did not want to come off. The need a better lift, but once your past that part its amazing. Gooey amazing cheese with a nice crust over the top from the larger pieces. Greta amount of garlic and its so so good! 9/10, can use it as a dip, with fries, pizza, pasta, sandwich, endless! Really yummy and easy.
Fries are a way of life
These are really good for what they are, but don’t expect crispy amazing fries. They are just vegetables shaped like fries, toss them in some olive oil and salt to prep. I air fried them till crispy, could have been crispier but I think they would have burned. Still really yummy and a solid 7/10, plus you can have it as a side dish and stay on track for healthy macros. Parsnip and sweet potato are my favorite, beet and carrot are ok. Adding these dip on top though—amazing! Kicks it up!
Solid!
Two solid items! One tastes amazing but not the best for you, the other pretty good and good for you! All about what your in the mood for, I say try both for balance 🙂 Some days are chip and dip, other veggies and protein 🙂 Both fun to try!
